Welcome to our holiday apartment, "The Flying Dutchman," in Steinhude! We welcome you as our guest to our accessible, comfortable holiday apartment. Arrive and let your holiday begin. Your holiday home is located on a quiet street near the working windmill and the former railway line, which is now a well-developed cycle path to Wunstorf. You can charge your e-bikes in the adjacent bike port. The apartment was completely renovated in January 2023 and features a bright, spacious living and dining area with a pellet stove, perfect for relaxing in the evenings. Please note: The mattresses in the children's room are 190 cm long. On the spacious, west-facing terrace, you can barbecue or simply relax. Nearby (approx. 700 m) you will find grocery stores and drugstores (Combi, Lidl, Rossmann). Steinhude is the ideal starting point for excursions into the moor and marshland landscape. Around Lake Steinhude, you'll find a wide range of leisure activities. For a relaxing break, try a hike with the alpacas, observe the birds in the nature park, or get active on the water with a boat or board. The 35 km long lakeside cycle path is perfect for a bike tour, with plenty of opportunities to stop for refreshments along the way. Two city bikes are available for guests to use free of charge with the holiday apartment. In just 15 minutes from Wunstorf, you can reach Hanover, the capital of Lower Saxony, by regional train.
