”Nice mid-range hotel with excellent spa (best treatments we’ve had, at very fair price, though no pool). Excellent dinner in restaurant & good breakfast. Our room was on 3rd floor and, being an old building, there’s no lift. Room was ok, though a ‘standard’ double, not a queen / king. There’s no air-con, but a good floor standing fan. Good sized bathroom with large shower. We will certainly return here as the spa & food are so good. ”
”For the price, oustanding facilities. Nice environment, great artwork, good libby and lounge area. Loved the availability of self service hot drinks and water coolers on each floor. The lounges were comfortable and have good facilites to work if required. The fitness suite, pool and sauna were all clean and comfortable. Rooms had a hood size deak, appropriate lamps, powerful showers and comfortable pillows and beds.”
”In an attempt to avoid travelling in the heat, we arrived very early. The staff were very welcoming and were happy to provide drinks.
We decided to stay for lunch and were not disappointed with the food. Steaks being cooked to perfection, with desserts of sticky toffee pudding and brownie being to die for!
When we did get to go to our room, we found it more than adequate, very clean and tea/coffee making facilities and a mini fridge to store our own goodies.
There was ample wardrobe space...
”My partner and I came here for our 4 year anniversary with our Westie, Stanley. Overall, we cannot fault the place! The room we had was lovely and spacious, the food was beautiful and the staff were all extremely accommodating and helpful, especially to our Stanley.
Stanley has thoroughly enjoyed his stay and has been spoilt rotten by the staff!
