”This is an old MOTEL…it appeared to be clean. It had dark carpet with old furniture. But, the price was good. The bed was comfortable for a night’s rest. It was also loud when others used water in their rooms. I would not have felt it was a safe place for small children. We had the King Deluxe room.”

”The room was very spacious and clean. Everyone was very friendly. I kept on having issues with my room key. If it came close to my phone or my money magnetic clip it would clear it. I would have to go back to the front desk every time I left my room. The bed was comfortable, the sheets were very scratchy. ”

”Beautiful surroundings in the woods, frequented by deer. Private and quite. Hosts were very pleasant. We enjoyed our stay here. The one downside was the foam mattress was not comfortable for my husband and it had a plastic cover on it that became damp and sticky during the night. A nice mattress topper would help that.”

”My husband and I stayed at this upstairs condo for 2 nights. It was so clean and comfortable. We did not use the kitchen, but there appeared to be everything needed to cook. We ate at the restaurants close to the condo and were able to walk to the beach. Definitely recommend!”

”First time staying here and we absolutely loved it!! Great location with a private beach close to everything. Could have installed a bigger water heater as it so small only 1-2 people can take a shower the rest have to wait an hour to get the next group on. I recommend installing an instant hot water tank in the unit it’s not much more in cost. Other than that the cabin was perfect and we will be back!!!!”

”We used to stay in motels around Brookings until we found this place. It’s perfect for the whole family (even dogs as it is fully fenced) and you can’t help just wandering around the yard and relaxing in the hammock or backyard swings. This place made us slow down and enjoy the sweet moments of a family vacation. Jane really takes care in preparing the house down to the last little details that shows she really cares and loves her home and wants you to enjoy it as much as she does! Like adorable...
