”This is the third time we’ve stayed at this wonderful home. We were there for nearly a month, and not once did we get bored or wish we were home. The hosts are truly wonderful people; considerate, compassionate, and big rock hounds like us. We loved being surrounded by nature, the way the place feels like walking into a home where you’ve always been comfortable, and the ceiling of stars at night. We love it here, and hope to be back annually, for as long as time allows. ”

”Quaint cabin right on Lake. Our dogs were in heaven being able to walk 2 miles and either direction right on the lake with no leashes. They had never experienced that and they were in heaven.”

”We really enjoyed our stay here. The layout was perfect for our group to give everyone their own space, but also have a good common space. The location was close to the ski hill, though I will say the roads during a snow storm can get dicey. Even with slow driving, we were still able to make it to the hill in 15 minutes or so. Would stay here again for sure!”

”I will say first that the location is great. Having said that, the house was dirty - we found food that was not ours under beds, in couches, on floors. The house is OLD and pretty run down. If I had to guess, the king mattress is as old as the home, so just assume you’ll be using one of the many twin sized beds with sheets that don’t fit. This house definitely needs new beds, mattresses and linens to be comfortable, especially at the price of the stay. Having said that, there was plenty of space...

”The home was in a great location. The process to just check in was easy. I even had a problem and called the emergency and they answered right away and helped me with my problem. The view was gorgeous from the back porch. The sunlight coming into the home was amazing.”

”Definitely one of the best places we’ve stayed at in the Petoskey/Harbor Springs area. Clean and spacious, we felt very comfortable relaxing here after skiing all day. We also loved the size of the bedrooms and bathrooms, and the kitchen had everything we needed for our long weekend stay. Close to Nubs Nob and Highlands, and the location was very pretty. Would stay here again!”

Only negatives: 3 TVs didn't work; multiple missing light bulbs; towels weren't hanging in bathrooms; many do not use signs such as fireplace and spa tub; and adjacent construction that started as early as 6:15am with loud noise. Despite this would stay again.”

”Sarah was easy to communicate with, property was as described, and a great home base for nearby ski area. Kudos on snow removal. Decent little snow and a lot of wind the night prior and they had it all cleared in time for us to make first tracks at the ski area.”
