”Lovely room, clean with plenty of space. Very comfortable bed and everything provided that you would need.
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. This was despite the fact that they were dealing with flooding outside the pub following a storm.”

”The Old Mill is a lovely old building that has been well converted to a b&b. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean and importantly for us, the windows are easily openable.
Bere Regis is a small but well connected village, there are many places of interest within easy reach.

”We chose the hottest days of the year to stay so the room was boiling, fortunately we took a fan with us but the owner also gave us another too.
The room was perfectly adequate for our needs good shower but the toilet flush was slow, plenty of tea/coffee.
Nothing was too much trouble for the owner.
Easy breakfast idea in dining room lots of choice (but no cooked) we knew b4 so never worried us.
I thought it was good value for the money more than happy.
Big bonus there was parking and 10 min walk...

”Great rural location (i am not a golfer), really nice room, clean and comfortable and reasonably stylish. Only let downs were; paper thin walls so could hear quiet conversations in the adjacent rooms, and a noisy shower (neighbour showered at 1am!). it was a heatwave; room fans were provided but it would have been good to fully ventilate the rooms.
Due to work commitments i had to leave before breakfast so can't comment on that.”

We especially appreciated being allowed to check in early, which made our arrival much more convenient. The accommodation was comfortable and had everything we needed for a short visit. ”Room was spacious, great shower. However the room we were in (an upgraded room) was over the kitchen and every morning at 7am something started up and all we could hear was the hum of it which is annoying when you would like a lie in.
We ate both nights in the pub. The food is good but very pricey. On our 2nd night we both had a special which was gammon, 1egg, chips, pinapple and piccalily. I pointed out that it said two eggs but we only got one each. The waiter was apologetic but just said it...
