”Parking was easy, lots of spaces and all free. Bar had a good feel to it, some cosy corners if preferred. Food was very good and breakfast was good, great choice”
”A lovely one night stay. The pub is in a quiet village location, close to lots of interesting places in beautiful Dorset countryside. Our room was large, with an equally large bathroom. We ate in the pub in the evening. The menu choice was good, prices reasonable and the food was excellent. We had our breakfast served outside in the garden and, again, this was tasty, hot and really enjoyable. Thoroughly recommended.”

”Was in town to go to the Tank Museum. Lovely property that was a 5 minute drive to the museum. There was an attached restaurant that was very reasonably priced and a nice continental breakfast that came with the room rate. The rooms were clean and functional. The doors were charming and opened with an old school key. For better or worse, the doors were also older wooden doors and not terribly good at keeping the outside noise out. ”
”Great place to stay, easy for us to access Dorchester and Weymouth. Staff were all terrific, made the stay very welcoming. The room was lovely and comfortable (tiny bits of upkeep needed in the bathroom was my only point of feedback!) Would 100% recommend and stay again.”

”Arrived after dark, unable to gain acess to property. No security lighting, very limited parking and key broke in lock. On call seemed perturbed that we had called them out. After gaining access eventually found property had not been cleaned, no bedding , clearly untidy and very poor. Basically , inhabitable. Would not recommend this property.”
