”The building is just magnificent with a really historical vibe. Beautiful in every way really. The staff was very friendly and helpful. However there were a couple of things......our room had no facility for making tea or coffee or hot water. Didn't think to check on booking as I assumed this was kind of standard. Also the glasses in our bathroom were not clean. The breakfast was very strange. I ordered orange juice and tea but you can only choose one of those. My croissant (miniature)...

”You thought of it all…..multiple rack space for hanging items, extra spot with mirror in closet, microwave and fridge, good bathroom lighting, light and airy looking drapes, desk chair, etc. very nice!”

”I stayed for only one night (Tuesday) and it happened to be the only night of the week that the restaurant was closed! My room was absolutely beautiful, but I was unable to open my windows to look at the view because my windows opened up to the hotel bar! Overall, it was a beautiful stay but I would’ve chosen a different room if I had known the bar would keep me up! The view was beautiful though”

”Property was well maintained. Rented the jacuzzi room which was large and spacious. Jacuzzi should’ve came with instructions in room but it wasn’t that hard to figure out after playing with it for a few minutes. Hotel is right next door to a quiktrip which was nice to be able to walk and get snacks and other things. Would definitely stay at this location again when in Macon!”

”Bed sheets had stains. There was blood on the base board in the Bathroom. Bleached stained office chair. ”

”Room was clean and good. Breakfast was disappointing. Hot water was empty for tea, had to get someone to fill it; water had sign that said lemon infused water but not a hint of lemon in it; sausage links were heated in water rendering them somewhat tasteless; some of the empty tables were not cleaned.”

”The rooms are very spacious. However, I highly recommend requesting a room that does not face the highway, otherwise you will hear vehicles all night. We requested a different room the next day, and were moved to a much better room on the other side. Be aware that the breakfast buffet closes early at 9am. We had been accustomed to breakfast buffets that were available to 10am, or even 9:30am at the earliest. Our mistake, and unfortunately we missed the buffet both nights.”

”Parking was secure. The front desk staff were friendly, professional and kind. However, the building needs updating. Our room smelled like mildew, carpet was worn and old. The pool had a white film floating on top so we skipped a swim (that we were looking forward to after sitting for hours in tons of traffic). We traveled with family and a young child. Their room smelled strongly of cat urine. We arrived late due to traffic and were too tired to complain so we used our own air freshener which...

”First time I’ve ever checked into a hotel and had to switch rooms. The first room (queen bed with a sleeper sofa for 3 of us) was tiny compared to an interior cruise cabin. Also the door would not open. My husband had to shove the door open with his shoulder. When we checked in the front desk was working off of a print out of who was in what room. I wasn’t thrilled that the lady working the front desk made a copy of my credit card.”
