”Riverview Cottage is a well maintained, cozy, and well-equipped cottage. We spent a week here and couldn’t have been more pleased with the accommodations. The kitchen was very well-equipped. The separate washer and dryer made it easy to catch up with the laundry after a bit of traveling. Located 5 minutes from the Calanais Standing Stones, the cottage is conveniently located to other attractions on the west coast of Harris. ”Gorgeous cosy cottage with stunning views over the Uig sands. 3 generous double bedrooms, very well stocked kitchen including a double air fryer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, good WiFi. 2 minute walk to access the lagoon of Uig sands, we swam everyday. It’s a remote tiny village which really helps you get away from it all, but lots to do around the place, we did some lovely hikes, seatrek boat tour, visiting Luskentyre beach, and Butt of Lewis lighthouse. ”This house is in a great position with wonderful views. It is very spacious and has everything you need. It was spotless and has good drying facilities for those wet days that can happen! Great for beach walks and bird watching from the house. We would like to return.”
