”The hotel staff were very nice, the room was large and comfortable. My only complaint is the air conditioning was blasting and it was pretty chilly outside. When I asked to have the heat put on, it was for a few hours then went back to cold. My room on the ground floor look directly to the street so if you want to open your curtains, i recommend you ask for a room upstairs. ”

”Very nice property which located just outside town so very quiet, still less than a 5 minute walk from the station though. Staff were very friendly and room was very pleasant. Breakfast options were different from a usual hotel which made a nice change, the only place in England I’ve seen that gives you a piece of steak with your cooked breakfast. Would definitely stay again!”

”I booked a room, which turned out to be very cold. I booked this premium hotel to be comfortable, and I wasn't. I called about this in the evening and they came to fix it. I also called in the morning, but no one came.
I might be old-fashioned, but back in the day there would be immediate compensation for a satisfactory resolution, i.e. free breakfast. Something like this would have made up for the issue, but nothing was offered. Feels like "thank you for your £200+, we dont care how it was...

”We stayed at the Galaxie Hotel in Oxford as a family and had a very good experience. When a crib for our baby wasn’t available, the staff immediately upgraded us to a larger room to make our stay more comfortable. This thoughtful gesture really made a difference for us. The room was clean, the service attentive, and the location convenient. We truly appreciated the extra effort from the hotel team.”
