”The room was really nice. Nice quiet atmosphere.”

”The facilities are modern and kept clean. Our granddaughter enjoyed the pool multiple times. Breakfast was good with choices of scrambled eggs, toast or muffins or bagels. The ham was delicious, too. We enjoyed our stay since the location was convenient to Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial and Custer State Park as well as the airport.”

”We stayed a few nights here and really enjoyed it. It’s an upgraded old motel with some cabins and a larger lodge up the hill. Across from the abandoned false ghost town, so that was fun. Most of the cabins have a gas grill and there is one at the lodge for the other units. Fire rings and picnic tables provided some nice outdoor spaces to compliment the smaller indoor spaces. Cindy was super helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast is light (cereal, toast, fruit, coffee) but just right. Good home...

”When we walked in the room also smelled. The bathroom was not very clean, the walls and the paper was peeling off. In the shower there were hairs from other guests.”

”The double queen room was very old and outdated. Whatever chemicals they use to clean were so strong it gave me a migraine. The mattresses were AWFUL. By the time we got back from Mount Rushmore, there was no one in the office and the mattresses were so terrible we couldn’t stay. We ended up leaving at 11pm and continued on our trip. Will not be back!”

”Room walls had holes in the walls. Bathroom tub was dirty from not draining properly and constant water drip. The only good about the stay was they refunded me the $35 pet fee.”

”We were not aware ther was a $200 deposit expected for each room booked. A lot of the things in the hotel had price tags, inferring that if damaged they would charge you to replace the items. We felt like we had to be extra careful not to touch anything.”

”Our room was sparkling clean. The staff was friendly and efficient. Breakfast was plentiful, high quality, relaxed and satisfying. Our only problems were with noise. 1. The ceilings were thin or not carpeted thickly enough so we could hear the people walking around above us at all hours. 2. The climate control in our room worked well but it whistled all night. 3. Whenever the people above us ran the water in their bathroom, there was a loud dripping noise in our bathroom, although we did not...

”Staff”

”Line at the front desk while only one worker tended to customers, who looked to be the manager just stood back and watched everyone wait instead of using the second computer right in front of him to help. Then when I got my room card, there were workers taking up the whole hallway to get to my room. As soon as I tried to enter and settle in they decided it was time for my room to get a shower rack installation. I wasn’t able to get my room to myself for 30 minutes after check in. They left dust...
