”We stayed here for a few days this June as a dog-friendly option. Staff were helpful and the building was relatively new and very clean. The manager offered a treat to our dog and made it clear the hotel was okay with dogs. We got a walkout King room which was perfect for the dog as we could take her out without going through the hotel. Breakfast was also good with chewy bagels and many options.”

”We stayed a few nights here and really enjoyed it. It’s an upgraded old motel with some cabins and a larger lodge up the hill. Across from the abandoned false ghost town, so that was fun. Most of the cabins have a gas grill and there is one at the lodge for the other units. Fire rings and picnic tables provided some nice outdoor spaces to compliment the smaller indoor spaces. Cindy was super helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast is light (cereal, toast, fruit, coffee) but just right. Good home...

”Just what we needed three adults and dogs comfortable and quiet”

”The double queen room was very old and outdated. Whatever chemicals they use to clean were so strong it gave me a migraine. The mattresses were AWFUL. By the time we got back from Mount Rushmore, there was no one in the office and the mattresses were so terrible we couldn’t stay. We ended up leaving at 11pm and continued on our trip. Will not be back!”
