”Lovely clean room, included fridge, ironing board, iron as well as the usual things you'd expect like tea/coffee facilities, desk, TV, toiletries, hair dryer. Comfy bed. I'd recommend to stay here but if you're a light sleeper you may need ear plugs as occasional traffic can be heard. Excellent breakfast choice, cooked breakfast made fresh to order. Would definitely stay here again ”

”This location was unusually nice. Yes, the rooms are above a pub, but it was very quiet, at least while we were there. The staff were very nice and helpful. The parking is a bit of a walk, down the street at the local race track, which has a very secure locked gate to their lot. It was included in the price and wasn't an issue for us. The breakfast was extra special. A wide variety of items to choose from. I would return just to sit and have breakfast again. Extremely pleasantly surprised by...

”A very nice place and excellent pub food. We stayed in the "annex" across the street from the pub. As they warned, the staris were steep, so those with mobility issues may have trouble. The room was large and the bathroom was good. We only requested room cleaning once during our 6-night stay. The only minor issue was it seemed the common hallways and our room floor was not vacummed. All other services were excellent. We would definitely return to the Rose & Crown.”

”We had a love 2 night stay in The Old Coffee Tavern. The staff are all very friendly and helpful The bed was very comfortable and a good size, we both slept really well Good generous tea, coffee and milk. Normally you just get enough for 2 teas or coffees each but we had about twice this which was really good. The bar has a good atmosphere with good selection of food and drink. It does need a general overhaul with the skirting coming away in some areas and a general redecoration”

”Had questions about arriving on the Queen's funeral day but my message or email were never answered. During Sunday or holiday found it a bit difficult to reach the staff as either there were no one there or phone was off. So I would say communication didn't work the best way. Otherwise no problems, great location, so near to train station and also near to the castle. We walked easily to every place in Warwick town centre and its surroundings. Modest breakfast but wasn't expecting too much...

”Nice, comfortable bedroom but you could hear the noise from the road. View to a meadow. English breakfast ok, but I missed cheese and cold cuts on my slice of bread. Gym was good. Nothing to do within short walking distance, and I didn't find a nice route for evening walk either. I stayed here because had a meeting here, but next time would opt for a hotel in town.”

”Stopped here for a few nights as we had a wedding to attend. All was good though I am a light sleeper and did have trouble due to a low pitched hum that persisted through the night. As we weren't staying long we didn't ask to move to a quieter room. If you are a light sleeper I would suggest you make it clear when you book that you need somewhere quiet. The food was good and reasonably priced and the bar prices were not as steep as some we have encountered in other hotels.”

”Had a few days business trip to Warwick. It is good to notice, if you arent by car that there arent that many stores open around the hotel after a working day. Hotel has a good location and a long history, which brings the other aspects not that comfortable, if you have got used to visit modern hotels.”

”Dirt in the room and under the bed. Staff generally good. Booking came with a room upgrade due to status. Room upgrade didn’t occur despite the hotel being empty and having availability on their website. Emailed the hotel through Expedia app (replying to the message they sent me) asking questions. That was ignored and not responded to. Dinner food quality was poor considering my the level they quote themselves to be at and prices charged. Ice cream for dessert clearly suffering from freezer burn...

”We enjoyed breakfast though would have liked more fruit. The room was a little cramped but met our needs. The hotel was in a good location for our visit.”
