”Off the main road which was good. We thought it was a nice, pleasant place to stay within a short drive of Chester. I would recommend this place to friends visiting the area. ”I chose this hotel to be near the racecourse. It is 30sec away. There is one even nearer but it is a Holiday Inn Express.
Potential guests should understand this is an 'unstaffed' hotel. No kitchen, no meals and no concierge. You have a keypad for the main door and another one for your room. You let yourself in and out.
And there is a machine where you can leave a tip!

”A lovely property with tasteful decor. All the staff are very pleasant. Palm Court restaurant was really nice, and the gym and swim facilities were good. The Sunday carvery is excellent and complimentary products in the room a nice touch.
Not a lot of seating in the bar if wanting drinks only, most of it is for eating. Similarly, car parking is at a premium with a wedding on. Changing rooms are quite small, and could do with a spin machine for drying trunks (many have these now).”
