”A lovely property with tasteful decor. All the staff are very pleasant. Palm Court restaurant was really nice, and the gym and swim facilities were good. The Sunday carvery is excellent and complimentary products in the room a nice touch.
Not a lot of seating in the bar if wanting drinks only, most of it is for eating. Similarly, car parking is at a premium with a wedding on. Changing rooms are quite small, and could do with a spin machine for drying trunks (many have these now).”

”I chose this hotel to be near the racecourse. It is 30sec away. There is one even nearer but it is a Holiday Inn Express.
Potential guests should understand this is an 'unstaffed' hotel. No kitchen, no meals and no concierge. You have a keypad for the main door and another one for your room. You let yourself in and out.
And there is a machine where you can leave a tip!

”Where do I start we got to the hotel on the first night go to the room to find there was no bedding for the kids we got charged for breakfast the next day for the kids the staff are useless the pool was closed by 7pm even tho is stated it was open till 9pm all the carpets in the hall way were taped down or ripped up the place is a joke for the price we paid”

”The bed was very uncomfortable!!! It dipped in the middle so it was quite difficult to lie flat.
The balcony only had one seat on it but, as we couldn’t get the door open anyway, that wasn’t a problem.
I didn’t take a shower cap with me as I expected the hotel to provide a selection of toiletries. It didn’t.
The shower head was a bit loose and out of my reach and, at one point, it was actually pointing at the wall with most of the water running down the wall.
We definitely would not return and...
