”Staff+food were faultless. Bed wasn't the comfiest though, so might need a rethink + shower temp was a bit mad; one nudge the wrong way and it was scalding. But overall, a positive stay with wonderful views and the staff are really, really brilliant people! :)”

”Hotel and rooms need a lot of TLC, water takes a while to heat up and when it does the pressure in the shower is awful. Pool wasnt bad but there were no spa appointments avaliable depsite having a membership. And the junior suite dosent look like the photos. Ended up makkng a complaint andnit was rectified but still not happy with my stay. Wasnt worth the money I paid. ”

”The hotel was reasonable priced and set in stunning grounds. My room was clean and comfortable. Nice to be able to use the pool at no extra cost. I would consider staying here again and would recommend. ”

”Room was okay but small. The mattress was amazingly comfortable albeit the wooden bed frame was a little creaky. The walls are paper thin and the doors closing and opening extremely noisy so not as restful a break as the location demands”

”Location was fine. Room was freezing. Instructions were incomplete so was unable to change mode to actually heat the space. Brekkie was adequate (comparing to numerous Premier Inns I have stayed in over the past 3 weeks of travel in the UK.”

”We've just had an overnight stay & we'll definitely be back, we stayed in the kingsize deluxe room & it was so spacious and comfortable the bed was so comfy & the shower was amazing with a built-in steam & sauna. Everywhere was spotless clean had tea snd coffee amenities with small fridge was self service to check in which was so easy 10 minutes walking distance to the town”

”Our stay in Holiday inn express was so so lovely. The staff really friendly, helpful especially in the morning at breakfast. They were on the ball making sure everyone was well feed. The breakfest was truly delicious. I did not expect such lovely hot food for the price we paid. Great value, great staff and very comfortable beds. Not to far from Shrewsbury. There in 10 minutes. Thank you to all the staff and the hotel itself. ”

”Plenty of parking, the room was clean and the welcome friendly.The downside was the restaurant was closed when arrived so the alternative was to go out again. We didn't bother, it might have been better to have had some notice of this and we could made other arrangements it didn't spoil matters.”
