When we arrived we found that the TV didn't work and notified front desk. They didn't get back to us until the night before we were leaving. (4days) To replace it.
There was mold all over the grout in the shower and when we informed them we were told it was "not live". I have 10+ photos but only posted 2
A diesel bus ran/idled outside our window for 30 minutes forcing us, in 28c weather, to close all windows so we didn't choke from diesel fumes. When we notified staff they just said... The bus can't go anywhere else.
There was dog biscuits on the floor of the room. It has obviously not been vacuumed.
We paid for a king bed upgrade and the room had a double bed. They did accept responsibility for this and reimbursed us.
The overall cleanliness left a lot to be desired. (See images)
Overall it was a complete disappointment and even if it was 1 or 2 things we would have been fine but the diesel bus fumes and mold were the worst and just left us with the worst experience in a hotel.
That all being said... Helensburgh is beautiful ❤️
