”Stunning cottage in a lovely village setting and just a stones throw from the local pub and deli (lovely breakfast)The property was well equipped and tastefully decorated throughout with 10/10 for cleanliness, the host had thought of everything We didn't get to use the hot tub (maybe next time)”

”Esk View Cottage is a fabulous base for exploring the Yorkshire Moors. Its location overlooking the river is stunning and the sound of the water very peaceful and relaxing. It is a 90 second walk from the NYMR station of Grosmont which we made great use of and the steam trains gave a really charming feel. Will definitely return. ”

”A wonderful apartment in a peaceful and beautiful setting. York is just around the corner and we found this a great base for our trips around Yorkshire. Everything you need is available and the landlords were very friendly and communicative. We can only recommend it and will definitely be back!”

”Comfortable, spacious cottage with all modern conveniences. Lovely welcome pack of eggs, bread, milk and apple juice. Quiet location with a rural outlook so close to York. We even had some sheep outside our door!”

”This cottage is represented well by the photographs on the website. It had everything we needed for our stay. We are two adults and two children (15, 12) and there was adequate room for us all. There were no issues with parking directly outside the property, we managed to get a space everytime. Helmsley is a lovely place, everyone was very friendly. This cottage was an excellent base for exploring the nearby area.”

”Our weekend in this cottage was comfortable and cosy. There was plenty of space for the two of us and it would be excellent for families as there are two lounge areas, one very spacious on the top floor. We appreciated the efficient log burner and were provided with all the equipment we needed. The views were lovely with one side looking over a field with horses, alpacas and pheasants. Contact with the owner was excellent. A lovely place to stay.”
