”Excellent rural location, quality re-furbishment, very comfortable bed, very well equipped for two people. The peace and quiet was wonderful, and the far-reaching views over the North Yorkshire Moors were magnificent. We would just mention, however, that the description on VRBO and Sykes Cottages states that is a microwave, which there isn't, and no mention of a toaster, which there is! The owner, Fiona, was charming and welcoming, and we would definitely return to this lovely cottage.”

”Lovely stay at the Barn in Whixley. The barn was immaculately clean, had a fabulous layout with bedrooms downstairs very modern but with character. Michelle the host was very friendly and informative. The barn is very well located, would defiantly recommend and would return again.”

”Brilliant little place. Loads of nice touches, really comfy. Stayed during storm Dennis and was happy all snug as a bug in a rug. Loved the place and will re-book again.”
