8. Marine Court First-floor Double Bedroom With Wet Room

Littlehampton

”We were late booking accommodation for Goodwood so didn’t have many options without needing to remortgage the house. We choose Marine Court for price and location. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived as it’s actually a firefighters charity who rent their rooms out of a weekend, and is used for firefighters rehab during the week. The room we had was big, modern and spotlessly clean. The staff were really friendly and helpful and reception was manned 24/7. There is no bar at the weekend...

”This turned out to be a home away from home. Our hosts were superb, making sure we settled in and were comfortable. There were lots of little details that made our stay enjoyable and memorable. Items such as the history, displays, wildlife and so forth. The only true and meaningful compliment that we can offer is: Would we return? Absolutely. In fact, we are already starting our plans for that return trip.”

North Chailey

”My husband and I enjoyed a week in Mill Barn in early June. Unfortunately the weather didn't want to play along so we couldn't enjoy the beautiful garden as much as I had hoped, but that was no loss - the cottage is adorable inside too and it's perfect for cozy cocooning when it's rainy. We enjoyed the smart TV, bath and wonderful shower, as well as the well equipped kitchen. There are plenty of fun day trips in the area and Penny was incredibly kind and helpful during our stay. I would book...

Worthing

”We loved the location of this holiday home—it was incredibly convenient and made exploring the area so easy. The host also left a very thoughtful, complimentary bottle of wine on arrival, which was a lovely touch. However, the indoor experience fell a bit short. All the tables and countertops were noticeably sticky from leftover cleaning product residue, and there was a persistent mold smell throughout the house. Additionally, despite being promised in the brochure, there was no coffee or tea...
