”This is the second time I've stayed here. It's a very charming, old house with tastefully decorated, comfortable rooms. The continental breakfast is very good and served in a cute and cozy dining room. The bed was a bit hard for me, but I'm pretty picky. Just a few minutes drive to the outlet stores and restaurants in town, but far enough away that it's nice and quiet. ”

”We loved meeting the hosts. Stephanie was gracious to let us check in early so we could change our clothes before heading to a funeral. Then Matthew served warm cookies and milk in the kitchen in the evening when we returned. We enjoyed hearing about his thru-hike in the Appalachian trail. ”

”We loved this place. Beautiful new rooms with full fridge/freezer and k-cup coffee machine. Porch all around the building was so nice to have to breakfast and take-out dinner. The breakfast at this b&b were fantastic. You have a choice of three things the night before and they deliver to your room in the morning. We ate on the porch overlooking the harbor. 2 minute walk to town and shops and restaurants. No car needed once you’re there. Loved it. mark who took care of us was fantastic!”

”Location to the busy areas of Freeport is steps away from this quiet oasis. Very nice innkeepers and staff will be there to make your stay pleasant while allowing you the privacy of a hotel guest. We stayed one night on our way home from mid coastal Maine and enjoyed our stay. ”

”Lovely roomy inn in South Bristol, Maine on Christmas cove. The hosts Alex a nd Freddy were very friendly and welcoming. My room was spacious with a private full bath. There is a tower you can go up to via several staircases to an amazing view overlooking the water and pine trees. The made to order breakfasts were delicious. Lots of beverages available at anytime. We had some nice conversations. They are still remodeling and redecorating some areas from their new owership a year ago. ”

”This property was beautiful, comfortable and clean, centrally located but out of the main street crowds. Everything we wanted to do was within walking distance so it worked out well. We would go back in a minute!! Carol is the ultimate hostess, and serves an amazing breakfast!!!!”

”We had a very pleasant stay for two nights at the Stonehouse Manor late season at Popham Beach. Our room had a beautiful view of the mouth of the Kennebunk River. In the morning we lay in bed watching the sun rise on the autumn colored hillside by Fort Popham through the large bay window. It was quiet. We strolled the expansive grounds with our coffee admiring the botanical variation particularly the huge old copper beech in front of the manor. A homemade breakfast of Rachels blueberry...

”We stayed in the small cottage behind the main house from which we could see the harbor through her lovely little flower garden. We only made it to one breakfast but that one was delicious. she was always friendly and helpful.”
