”I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay after dropping my children at college. It was better than I could have ever imagined from the second I got there till the second I left. Super clean, warm and welcoming, and a wonderful breakfast as well! As a single woman traveling alone, I had no concerns whatsoever. I couldn’t recommend this place anymore and look forward to returning!”

”I always enjoy staying at the Stonefence. They are upgrading the pool area so that wasn't available to swim in, but the beautiful river was! I hope that opening the restaurant will work out for them (they were doing a "soft opening" during the stay). I loved my lunch out on the patio, reading my book and seeing the river.”

”Great hotel for visiting St. Lawrence University and 1,000 Islands region. Room was spacious, comfortable, quiet and clean with all the usual amenities. Nice breakfast buffet with hot and cold items. Very pleased with my brief stay and highly recommend this hotel.”

”The treehouse was very cozy and cooled down very well at night. They have great trails and kayaks to use which the dog loved. The hosts were communicative and gracious. They gave us some fresh strawberries from their garden as well. We hope to get back in the not too distant future. ”
