”Good parking, pub and food next door, outdoor shopping centre 10 minutes walk as well as the metro train station to the city centre.”

Absolutely nothing we did not like apart from leaving. A first visit which I really hope will not be our last. Great work by the team here.”

”Staff at check in and out not helpful Room was very poor only one pillow per person toilet/bathroom very scruffy ,ironing board had holes in the ironing surface windows in need of refurbishment”

”Lovely country pub and stay nice cooked food and breakfast which is decent size to start your day . Rooms and nice and roomy and comfy got everything you need all clean and tidy . The rooms attached to pub are great if you’re disabled . The staff are lovely a really nice family run place so welcoming in a beautiful little village with gorgeous surroundings peaceful . Loved it will be back again .”

”Our welcome to high force was great and staff were amazing. We came back to the hotel after a walk to low force, just after the service for food had ended, but it was no trouble to staff to offer to make a bowl of chips for us as the fryers were still on. We did find the bed slightly uncomfortable and under bed may need to be cleaned but other than that it was great. To have high force tickets and raby castle tickets included was also an added bonus. The breakfast in the morning was lovely with...

”Room was fine, tea and coffee wasn't very nice and no complementary biscuits. No magnifying mirror in the bathroom. States Brompton however 8 miles away. Bed was really uncomfortable. Evening meal was nice, 10% surcharge on you bill! Wine expenses! Breakfast was so so. Waited a long time for someone to come to the checkin fest on arrival and departure. Probably would try an alternative hotel ”

”My stay at Lanehead old school was fantastic. The owners Lisa and Chris were lovely and extremely helpful. My car broke down on the way there and they offered to pick me up. They then offered to pick me up from the garage I had my car towed to. Excellent hosts. It was like staying with old friends! I can't recommend the place highly enough!”

”Check in was quick and easy. Staff were helpful and polite, even moved me from a room in the inn to an annexe room so I could be away from noise from bar. Also had a very good breakfast which is extra but excellent value for money. Definitely recommend it hotel and breakfast.”

”We had such a lovely stay at Langley Castle Hotel. The staff were genuinely warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived and made the whole experience feel really special. We stayed in the Percy Room, which was full of charm and character while still being very comfortable. Staying in an actual castle was such a unique experience. We also loved walking the nearby trails and grounds — it was peaceful and beautiful, especially in the evening. Dinner at the hotel was excellent, with great food...
