”We booked to stay as it was near to Wadhurst Castle where we were attending a wedding. The room was The Yew and Eye. Spotlessly clean and a lovely area out the front to sit and enjoy a drink. Very quirky but charming. The welcome at reception and talk through in the room was excellent. The young lady even took a few moments out of her very busy day to give us a brief history of the pub. The bar was busy but well staffed. Breakfast was ample , fresh and most welcome”

”Stayed here for 1 night for work purposes, on arrival i was greeted warmly & was checked in quickly & efficiently. The room was really nice, clean, cosy & comfortable. Had a good nights sleep due to the rooms been quiet & away from the pub itself & road. Breakfast the next morning was really nice & plenty of choice from cereal, cooked breakfast & cold meats. Would definitely stay here again should i be working around that area & would recomend this place to others.”

”Nice one! Great room with a king size bed, spotless clean, spacious and cosy. The only minus was the extremely strong smell of washing detergent in the bed linen - this hotel is not suitable for allergic people!! Our clothes smelled like the washing detergent for days later... Otherwise nothing to complain about, staff was great, friendly and helpful, breakfast was good and the overall atmosphere in the hotel was good. We could stay again in this hotel.”
