”We had the most delightful stay at the Whispering Pines Hotel. Spotless hotel with delightful and polite staff. The night was very stormy but we felt warm and cosy and despite the numerous times the electricity cut out the generators kicked in and we were back on with power with no fuss. My only criticism is the meal prices were way too high and the choices were too limited”

”We had a wonderful stay at Glenlochy Nevis Bridge Apartments. The apartment was exceptionally clean — the carpets were spotless, and everything felt fresh and well cared for. It genuinely feels homely and cosy, not just like a rental. The décor is tasteful, the pictures on the walls are beautiful, and the little touches — like flowers arranged on the towels — made it feel welcoming and thoughtful. ”Such a lovely place to stay, the Nevis Bank Inn was so very quaint and comfy for our two nights stay, we only wished we could stay for a few more! The location is perfect for Fort William with excellent access to big ol’ Ben Nevis and the Fort William highstreet / Loch Eil that is if you can muster the determination to get up from their super soft beds that I for one could have stayed all day long in. Brilliant place to stay 10/10 would lay their heads again ; )”

”When I booked to stay here I didn't know what I was actually booking since I only needed a room for one night and this was the only option close to the Fort William train station that was left. WOW! I was blown away by it!!! The rooms were amazing! The dinning area and dinner was wonderful. I've already decided that when it comes time for my honeymoon this will be place I want it at.”

”The lodge was very clean and charming. We felt at home right away. We were not missing anything that we needed. Communication was easy and quick. We would be happy to book there again. I suppose the only downside is that it is right off the highway, so cars and lorries are regularly passing by. This does take away from the peace of the lake on the other side of the highway. But this negative point is eclipsed by all the positive aspects. Highly recommended!”

”Not worth of the money, not at all! It might look nice in the pictures and from outside, but is is horrible inside. The smell in corridors is very damp and bad and how the rooms are renovated, it must be rotten inside the walls. The room was clean (that is the only thing done right), but the smell of damp is in the towels too. I´ve never been a hotel that had so worn out sheets (it has holes in it..) All the sounds from the other rooms and corridor comes straight through the walls and...
