”Hotel was great!! Location is perfect for anyone who just wants to park the car and walk everywhere. Restaurant is very very good! Great quality and variety of options. Waiters were really knowledgeable on the menu and drinks. We only had a slight issue with the time it took for the valet to bring the car around but they made it up to us. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Victoria. It’s the same quality if not better than the Empress, which we have stayed at before. ...

”The staff was absolutely wonderful and accommodating! The location is prime. so close to great landmarks like the legislature, Government street and many others. Very walkable, and convenient for day and night activities. The room was spacey, and very well equipped (Room with kitchen). ”You know you are above a pub, so there is the usual music and conversation noises. Pub closes at 1:00 and is not a “club” so not insane thumping and loud screaming or anything. So, knowing that, I LOVED the large room and the kitchenette. Very clean, cool abstract art pieces, clean crisp sheets, with lots of pillows and comfortable bed. Sweet couch, airy 16 foot (?) ceiling. Excellent location and staff super clear and helpful, esp with parking. Fabulous stay!”
