”We really enjoyed our stay. Although much of the equipment (air conditioning, the ice machine etc.) are obviously several decades old, everything works and the hotel in general has been renovated recently. Our room was very tidy and fresh. The breakfast is good and there is complimentary tea and coffee available almost at any hour, and there are excellent cookies in the evening. The cleanliness of the small gym is impeccable. The personnel are super nice and helpful and resolved our small issues...

”I booked this as a last minute getaway trip to Seattle. I wanted to be outside of the downtown area for a different vibe and my stay here did not disappoint. Loved the location in the historic Columbia City area and within walking distance of the Light Rail for easy access. Plenty of great restaurants in the area and I loved walking to Seward Park. The room was clean and had many amenities available making it a very comfortable stay. Communication with the host was great. Would stay again. ”

”A wonderful classic hotel where we had a large room. The towels were great. The robes were soft. Were were on the 4th floor out of 7. We had a corner room and it was a little noisy given the Main Street out front. Also, you could not watch TV from bed. If the hotel was really busy then the one elevator could be a big problem, but we did not experience any long waits. This was a delightful experience and the first time we stayed there. We will have no hesitation coming back.”
