31 Singleton Beach is an awesome house

We have rented this home multiple times for family vacation and plan to rent it multiple times in the future. We rent a few homes a year around the country for family time. This house is by far the best and the only repeat home we rent.

Property was beautiful and very well equipped. Kitchen was excellent. The only complaint I had was they need to list the bunk beds as toddler beds. A couple of my grandson couldn’t come or we would not had enough sleeping space.

Very well appointed, convenient lovely home. Perfect for our group very spacious and extremely well equipped kitchen. Property is convenient to everything. Coco's beach side grill is convenient and we never heard one noise. All around very great property

Wonderful home with everything you need

We stayed at this property with my whole family which included 8 adults and 7 kids ranging from 10 yrs to newborn. We had a blast! Between pool and beach it was endless fun. Grocery store is 5 min drive which we used often and countless restaurants, ferry’s etc were all within 10-15 mins. Would recommend for family stay!

We loved our stay. Beautiful, well-furnished home that sits on the beach. The panoramic views from the home were amazing. Enjoyed walking the beach every day. The kids enjoyed the oceanfront pool and the bunk room. The management company was easy to book with and super helpful. We will be back for sure!!

This house was incredible! The location is also fantastic. We had no problems at all. The first thing we noticed immediately upon entering was how clean it was. The beds were comfortable and the pool was amazing. The oceanfront view was spectacular. I honestly can't say enough wonderful things about this place. I will definitely be in contact soon to rent it again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Awesome stay. We understand why there are rules but there needs to be dark pillow cases and makeup towels for female guests. Some of my family put their T-shirt’s over their pillows because they were afraid we might be fined even after they washed their face.

Great vacation

Easy access to beach and beach-side restaurant/bar. Finishes are excellent. Only downside is no ice machine, so plan to buy ice daily. We have stayed in this neighborhood before, and this house is nice even compared to the places around it. Mid-week trash pick up and pool cleaning. Also, management company reached out by text midweek to make sure trip was going well. Thanks!

Wonderful!

We loved this house and the location! The kitchen is well (overly!) equipped, including two (count ‘em, TWO) dishwashers and refrigerators, and plenty of any pot, pan or utensil we could ever need. There is plenty of seating in the great room (nothing worse than a house that sleeps 16 and only has seating for 6 or 8). Yes, there were quite a few people on the beach, but I wouldn’t call it “crowded,” plus that’s Hilton Head - there really aren’t many “secluded” areas. We all enjoyed the pool and the covered patio was great for watching afternoon storms. Management was very responsive and easy to deal with. Overall, this is a great property and we thought it was well worth the cost.

It is a beautiful home with great furniture and decor. The kitchen has literally everything. Can't think of anything that was missing. The views are amazing. Nice pool, easy beach access and right next door to the best bar, Coco's. If you want a gorgeous beachfront home in a great location on the island, this is it. Also, the elevator was invaluable to us, as our ages were 67 to 83 and carrying luggage up and down stairs would have been extremely difficult. An elevator is a must for us.

Gorgeous home!

The home was amazing and perfect for our family of 11, which included 3 toddles. We loved the location, the pool, the furnishings, really everything was perfect! The only hiccup was our check-in. We arrived shortly after 4pm, which was listed as the check-in time, but it was all locked up. We had trouble reaching anyone for help, so it was a bit of a letdown after driving many hours with a toddler and being locked out. We were eventually contacted and told that the check in time was 5pm and the door would unlock then, but I stated that the listing and check-in info page both listed it at 4pm so we were given the garage access code. All & all it was not a huge deal, but like I said, just an unfortunate arrival experience. Aside from that, our stay was perfect and we would 100% rent it again. The views are spectacular too!

The house & beach are beautiful!! The kitchen was the best of any house I’ve rented & the staff responded to a maintenance issue quickly. Our family enjoyed golf at Oyster Reef & Coco’s food & drinks were surprisingly good.

great place, but too crowed and pricey

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at this house for several years and love it. Really well stocked and equipped We like being near Cocos, but that might not be a good fit for some. The beach itself seems over crowed right in front of the house. The rise in cost over the past threes years is insane an die will not be returning.

Incredible house, bad location

We just completed a 30 day stay in this property. We have stayed in many Singleton Beach homes over the past 20 years. It is one of our favorite areas on the island. This house was incredible. Sadly, we won’t be back unless changes occur (which are likely outside the owner’s control). The Good- -This is one of the biggest and newest houses on Singleton Beach and it is beautifully decorated. -3 master suites on 3 different floors -Many upgrades that you don’t often see in rental homes -Gourmet kitchen is fully equipped with every appliance and tool you could ever want. They have truly thought of everything! -Furniture is much nicer than most beach houses and extremely comfortable. -All beds except one were comfortable. The Bad- -There are only 2 parking spaces in the garage (the owner has a car in the 3rd) and the driveway spaces are very short due to the configuration of the street. Only one of our cars was short enough to park in the driveway. If you have multiple large SUVs or minivans, you are likely going yo be parking one or more vehicles offsite. We made it work, but it would have been good to know. - There is a popular beach bar VERY close to the house and the bar has a volleyball court next to the house. On weekends, there is a LOT of noise both day and night. There is supposed to be a curfew, but it was not always respected. The most ADA-accessible master suite backs up to this bar, We had an elderly guest staying in this room and he wanted to go to bed early most nights. Unfortunately, he could not fall asleep due to the noise. - There are cars turning around in the driveway at all hours because it is at the end of the street. The neighborhood needs better signage/gates to restrict access. It is a big problem. The street is narrow and it’s hard to get in or out with these onlooker cars. - The beach has become well-known and there are now hundreds of people on it most days. The city has set up rental beach chairs and a lifeguard stand right in front of this house. All 4 weekends, we counted 100-250 people right in front of this house, with significantly fewer on other parts of the beach. This entire beach used to be quiet and relaxing. This was like Daytona. When you pay this much to rent a house, you want a more exclusive experience. The city should put the chairs in front of the beach bar or spread them out in front of all the houses, not just in front of this house. It’s very unfair to this owner.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice home, unfortunately stay affected by a number of suboptimal issues. Dead bugs everywhere on arrival, obvious that exterminator had been (sheet from a couple of weeks prior was on kitchen countertop, but obviously not rented or cleaned since). However, great vacuum system so we were able to vacuum, (took my husband about an hour) before our guest started to arrive. First night, no hot water. Maintenance arrived first thing next morning, did not know where boilers were, but once we showed him, got hot water quickly. One microwave died, luckily this home had 2 of every appliance, so managed, as the microwave was not fixed during our stay. Also second refrigerator definitely suboptimal, our ice cream never froze!. Water filter in main refrigerator in the kitchen, obviously not changed or cleaned in a while, algae on spout! (we bought water and ice). Property not secured, with people cutting through by the garage to walk to the beach, someone actually picked up one of our baseball cups which had blown onto the lawn downstairs and walked off with it! All told we still had an amazing time due to location and size of home, which accommodated our large, 4 generations of family very well.
