”The house is really nice, and private. It's very clean and comfortable. The sounds of the frogs and others is very loud at night so bring ear plugs if you are sensitive to noises at night. ”

”We just got home from a week long stay at the Foster Ohia Rental Home. This was our first trip not staying with family locally, so finding this home nearby was perfect. The home was so comfy and included everything you’d need to make your stay enjoyable. It was private and excluded and we already miss going to sleep to the sound of the coquis and waking up to the chirping birds of the forest. Staying up on the hill was much more enjoyable and offered a nice reprieve from the Kona heat. Also...

”Great stay with only very minor negative points. The Pots in the kitchen could be better.Therefore the yard is awesome. Propably the nicest i have seen so far. The house is gorgeous too, but don't expect to much privacy between your party members.The Guest room gets quite warm without A/C but it's ok. Overall a fantastic stay and i will come back as soon as i can afford Hawaii again.”

”Mango Cottage is a great home base for exploring the island. 2nd time staying here. Host is super cool and helpful. If you need anything during your stay, he's there for you! The cottage has everything you need- plus the bedroom is air conditioned. It might sound odd to think AC is needed, but the end of summer can get toasty-so if you're comparing different places, be sure to consider AC! ”Loved our stay here. It was the perfect spot a little off the beaten path that was a great home base for our adventures on the big island. Close enough to everything you need and far enough from the hoardes of tourists, with lots of little shops and spots to check out nearby. As for the space itself, it's super cozy and has an incredible ocean view from the screened in patio. Waking up to that view was one of the best parts of our trip. Would 100% stay here again.”

"This place is an absolute dump. I don't think it would pass for a 2-star hotel in Europe or Asia. Don't book the ocean view room, the windows will rattle to a point where it's impossible to sleep with the slightest of waves. The prices are beyond ludicrous. Spent a few nights here, expecting this to be the dream Hawaiian getaway after trekking around the island - it was the worst hotel we stayed in. We had to change rooms 3 times to get something remotely habitable... this at a $400/night resort."

"Great week in a spacious villa with nice views over the golf course to ocean. Having breakfast in the balcony was unforgettable. The bed was confortable and all utilities we needed were available. We would choose this place again."
