Siivouksesta perittiin eri maksu, Maksuperusteita ei annettu etukäteen, joskin kerrottiin lisämaksuista ja varausmaksusta. Hotellissa oli jonkinlainen kioski-kahvila, ei ravintolaa. Avoinna vain aamulla ja illalla. Vastasi korkeintaan 3 tähden hotellia”

"My daughter and I went to Chicago to run the marathon. Booked The River hotel as it was one of the few hotels I could find with twin beds at a reasonable price located within walking distance to grant park. The room was compact but it was warm, clean, had a microwave oven, mini fridge and espresso machine. Location was absolutely brilliant. Magnificent mile just the other side of the river and plenty of shops, restaurants, bakeries right next to the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful, only really had interaction at checking. Highly recommend, I certainly would stay there next time."
