”The property was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable throughout our stay. The owners—a delightful couple—were accommodating and genuinely pleasant, adding a personal touch that made us feel welcome. One of the highlights was spending time on the back deck, which offered stunning views of the mountains and unforgettable sunsets, all accented by the charm of hummingbirds and wild turkeys in the yard.

”We stayed two nights in Red Baron cabin. The Cabin was otherwise ok, but worn out a little bit. The place was nice with mountains all around. Breakfast was served from 8 to 8.30. The Innkeeper prepared the breakfast herself. It was homemade and different from regular hotels. The bad thing about it was that you couldn´t decide yourself what to have for breakfast. As a whole the place was quite ok but next time I visit Durango I propably go somewhere else”
”Not sure how many of the rooms are remodeled but the one we got was and was very nice. They have a good morning breakfast and while they don't have a fitness center onsite, they provide free access to the well-equipped Durango Rec Center just a mile down the street - if you're looking for weights or some post-hiking light exercises. Hadn't stayed there before but would definitely recommend.”
