”We love coming to the knoll house, it is clean and quirky and has a lot of history attached to it. The food is lovely. It’s very dog friendly beautiful Studland beach is across the road. It has a small pool and Swanage is five minutes drive down the road. It’s a very relaxing place to be.”

”A very enjoyable stay, the room was beautifuly decorated with plenty of space. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Had a meal in the restaurant first evening which was very enjoyable. Great outdoor and indoor space to have a drink. Poole is a lovely area and we thought this hotel was very good value.”

”We stayed for ole night in apartment side of this hotel. The room was nicely equipped and clean, but for a northern european romantically in a very british way, a bit shabby. A++++ for the staff, they were super helpful and friendly. Situated very close to the magnificent beach, but far from supermarkets, and public transport. ”Lovely hotel in an old townhouse in the old city of Poole. Spacious rooms, beautifully decorated, equipped with everything a traveler needs. Excellent breakfast.”

”Mukava vanhan ajan majatalo, joka sopi sijainniltaan hyvin yöpymispaikaksi matkalla kanaalisaarille (n. 10 min kävelyn päässä Poolen satamasta). Huoneessa ei muuta moittimista kuin vanhanaikaiset ikkunat, joiden äänieristys oli olematon ja jo loppukesän yönä huone oli melko viileä. Korvatulpat takasivat silti rauhalliset unet. Aamupala hyvä brittiaamiainen ja henkilökunta niin respassa kuin aamupalalla oli kohteliasta.”

”Very good hotel near city center. Continental breakfast and good service gave a nice start to every day. Near the sea shore to take a walk there.”

”Over the years my family and I have stayed here many times and I’m happy to say that the high standards we have previously experienced, are ongoing. Excellent staff, great facilities and a fantastic breakfast. Sadly we didn’t get a chance to use the pool and leisure facilities due to our own busy schedule, but next time we will be sure to plan less and do more! Keep up the good work all at the Connaught. ”
