Want to base all my interior decor on this hotel going forward because it was just that elegant and well thought out. Lovely little walk into town. The hotel and location perfectly allowed me to romanticise my rainy January birthday! Very special place and would recommend to anyone. ”

”The family room worked well for our one-night stay in Bath. Weirdly, the room was equipped with towels and cups only for two guests. The spa is actually pretty nice in the hotel. It is also very well situated. ”

”Had a lovely stay. The main property looks just like the online images and is really beautiful however, I’m assuming that most people stay in the building to the left which is less historic. Our check in was easy and even though we were brought to a room with just one bed, the staff rectified this pretty quickly and brought us to a room with two beds, which is what we had booked . Comfortable beds, quiet rooms. I would imagine it’s a little louder in the high season. We were a bit disappointed...

”Nick is such a lovely and helpful host and the place is beautiful, peaceful and has everything you need. Unfortunately it was raining all the time so we couldn't explore the area as much as we wanted to but that's UK weather for you. I'd happily go back to the cellars and would like to stay at the orangery too. ”
