”A really nice hotel in the heart of Bristol. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice and tidy rooms with air conditioning. Beds are a tiny bit small for two people but for a short stay this didn’t bother us! If we’re coming back to Bristol for a weekend getaway we will definitely come back! ”

”Fridge wasn't actually cold, jammed outer window that wouldn't close so there was consistent traffic noise from being next to major road. The fan/heater unit system is ancient, full of lint / dust and very ineffective -- particularly the heater setting (not very warm and would turn off after a couple of minutes). The room was not one of those renovated shown at hotel website, but with a older style interior. Anyway very good and comfortable room with iron and ironing table and large comfortable bed. Breakfast was quite decent, but did not really match the hotel´s price level.”

”Comfortable Hotel in a good location for doing stuff in and around Bristol, good facilities and very friendly/helpful staff. However, one bedside lamp was not working as the bulb had failed (reported but it was the weekend so no maintenance staff around), some of the tables in the restaurant were sticky and the fire alarm went off briefly one night at 03.30. I appreciate false alarms happen but the was no acknowledgement of the issue at checkout the next morning, even though nobody could have...

”Unfortunately despite requesting a quiet room beforehand I was placed right on top of the bar, which at times is very noisy. This in effect robbed me of sleep for a few nights. I talked about this with staff who were helpful, and the problem was solved in a satisfactory manner. The location is good, with very short walk to Bristol Museum.
