”Restaurant/ bar/spa Staff made the trip, friendly professional and knew what it meant to make a memorable stay. Rooms VERY tired. First room smelt of body odour. Second room bathroom literally falling apart. Cracked sink, everything leaked. Heating so unbelievably hot but unable to turn it off even after reporting to staff. Slept with windows wide open all evening. Lovely location, quiet and peaceful. ”

When asking for someone to help with the bathtub plug, the reception registered the request, however no one ever came to see the issue. Having purchased the room in this hotel specifically because of bathtub access, I unfortunately did not get the value I expected. ”

”We had booked a basic room as only there for 1 night but told on arrival there was no lift in that part of the building so we had to pay to upgrade so my husband could access a room. The room was dusty. The bed was ok but we've had better and the shower was over the bath which again made it very difficult for my husband. Definitely wouldn't use this hotel aga.i”

”It was a quick business trip, so no time to use the facilities. The room was indeed snug but perfectly adequate for one night. The lighting is very low, so difficult to put make up on etc. great iron, hairdryer etc. The main issue was the bathroom, which smelt mouldy, which was very disappointing. ”

”The staff were very pleasant and helpful. I had a comfortable sleep but the negative was that there was a plumbing issue in the morning so there were problems in the kitchen so we were unable to take a shower in the room and also unable have breakfast which we had paid for. Therefore, we checked out earlier than intended And drove home. When we called the hotel to say that we left and didn’t have breakfast, the member of staff just said oh,very sorry but it was only an hour and we did then...
