”My 2 kids (9yo, 11yo) and I went to Rancho Margot for 5 days seeking an immersive experience at a sustainable working farm in the rainforest, near Arenal. It’s about 30 min from La Fortuna. And we got it! We loved it. We experienced what a circular economy looks like, and how it can work. We enjoyed their fascinating workshops on how to make soap, chocolate, and cheese (queso fresco). We swam in their lovely pool. We also did zip lining and thermal springs off-site. Their food is so good and...

”Upea maisema, maittavia oluita.”

”Had a lovely weekend stay here. The view over Lake Arenal is unbelievable! Ana was a delight every morning and made wonderful breakfasts. Her sweet cats roaming around on the property was a huge plus for me. Great place to stay if you’re looking for somewhere quiet and undisturbed but still only 20 minutes from restaurants/conveniences. There are toucans in the trees next to the bungalow every morning.”

”The gardens are incredible and the many humming birds were a joy. I have been in many art galleries with local art. This is one of the better galleries created from many talented artists.”

”Limpieza, mantenimiento y jardinería de la propiedad, excepcionales. El desayuno, maravilloso.”

”Werner and Carlos are beautiful hosts and we really enjoyed the property and the delicious breakfast! We really appreciated that they immediately took the time to make a reservation to the Hanging Bridges and recommend a great restaurant. Thank you both!”

”Breakfast was very good and on time. Try the banana pancakes. Staff was very helpful and toured their farm and coffee plantation. The hikes on property were great and the cloud forest experience could not be better. The rooms are sparse but great for the experience. No AC but was not needed. ”

”Muy amables y nos ayudaron con reservación y consejos de lugares a donde ir nos encantó ”

”We had a great stay at blue jungle lodge. Patrick was amazing property manager. He took care of everything for our stay. The lodge is big, clean and has all amenities that you can think of. Location is perfect for an ideal vacation. Patrick and Herman helped our group ( friends and families of 26 people) with everything starting from airport transportation to excursions , food , breakfast, lunch and dinner. It was so easy to coordinate and was hassle free. We highly recommend this...

”This property had a beautiful view, furnishings were new and in great condition. The road on the way to the home was rough but we managed just fine. This property is not near touristy activities but a great get away for a slower pace.”

”We had the best time during our short stay. The house was amazing with a view that can’t be beat. Patrick, the property manager, was the best! From meeting us to show us the way our first day to lining up all of our excursions, he made our stay so memorable. We will definitely be back for a longer stay the next time.”

”Great time very relaxing”

”We had everything we needed! Host was very helpful, the home was very clean and peaceful! Horse back riding was a fun add out to our stay here. Brett was there to help us and answer any questions about the area!”
