We stayed in the Casona and were pleasantly surprised with the accommodation and beautiful views of Lake Arenal and the volcano from our room. Thanks especially to Howard and Daniel in the restaurant, and our morning walk with Cristian - you made our stay even more special! ”

”Nice stay for one night. Room is very basic & small. Very good service at the reception. Enjoyed the pool & jacuzzis, and the small forest trail was a nice extra. Breakfast however was a joke: worst we’ve had in 2 weeks in Costa Rica. Cheapest possible ingredients and even coffee was bitter & bad (first time ever in CR :)”

”The thermal pools and spas were wonderful!! They drain each night and refill with fresh water everyday. The rooms were top notch. We had a room with a view of Arenal Volcano and a hot tub. We enjoyed the food. Breakfast is free and they put on a dinner buffet that is $30 per person that is well worth it. Definitely recommend!!”

”Really beautiful and peaceful resort! The hotel has its own hot springs, and also an outside jacuzzi. The amenities of the room were great, for example the insect repellent cream was very useful. The resort area was well kept, and all kind of animals were walking around. Besides for families, this hotel was an excellent choice also for a solo traveller looking for tranquility.”

”This is officially my go-to location when i visit La Fortuna. As a first timer to Costa Rica, I had high hopes but wasnt quite sure what to expect. Arenal Kioro managed to exceed my expectations tenfold in every way possible. From the moment we arrived we were greeted and offered a beverage of our choice and thoroughly explained the facilities and amenities the resort had to offer. ”We were going back and forth between a few different properties and we are so glad we ended up going with this one!!! The staff was amazing and attentive (especially Hamid and Kevin), the staff went above and beyond to make our stay as easy and comfortable as possible, the bedding was great, and the grounds made you feel like you were on a retreat. We loved the intimate feel and getting to know the staff. We were sad to leave but look forward to the opportunity to return!”

”Customer service was always amazing, there were so many different hot tubs at different heats, the pool was large and heated with a swim up bar, and they had a cold plunge. The view from the room was great of the volcano. ”

”A nice, clean hotel with magnificent views. The overall look was a little bit outdated, but it didn't matter, because everything was clean and worked well. Staff was nice. We really liked having our tasty breakfast while enjoying the view. ”
