”Positive: penthouse rooms are good for families. Gym is very good for a hotel. Negatives: pictures are somewhat misleading: there isn’t really a hot tub; the one in the pictures is the same temp as the pool and the one in the spa is like a tepid bath. Breakfast is ridiculous, you get to stand in line everyday for about 20 min while they act surprised that they have customers and when they say breakfast ends at 10, that is a lie. They start clearing all the food away whenever it pleases the staff...

”We had a lovely stay especially the friendly staff and the kennels was a real highlight.”

”A lovely gem in the country. Great for walker. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had an issue with our room and it was sorted - no fuss. The food was excellent and great selection for breakfast. Well worth a visit. 👍”

”I stayed for one night while visiting my daughter at Chichester University and had hoped to find a hotel I could use regularly, but I will not be returning. The website says parking is available, but the hotel car park was difficult to find, extremely small and full. After a 2½-hour drive, I had to navigate a very busy town centre to find alternative parking, all of which was chargeable. The limited parking needs to be explained much more clearly before booking. I arrived at 2.30pm, but my...

”Absolute heaven from beginning to end. Delightful staff, the most beautiful lawn to sit out on with a drink (and fire pits for the evening), great food, super comfortable room and amazing spa treatments. Best weekend away ever!”

”My room was spotlessly clean and housekeeping were extremely kind.”

”Great location to explore town. Staff were most welcoming. Cosy, clean, double room (some road noise/light from window). Fantastic cooked breakfast with proper barista coffee. Would stay again.”

”Staff were lovely”

”Ideal stay.. clean rooms.. lovely polite staff..wonderful breakfast..hotel located close to coastal walks which was what we were looking for..”

”We stayed one night at the hotel. It was easy to find and had a good car park. The staff was friendly and helpful. We got information of restaurants nearby where we could have dinner. It was a 15 minute walk to the nearest restaurants. The room was quite small, but had all we needed. The breakfast was tasty :) ”

”Very comfortable room, and lovely breakfast. Staff were welcoming and very helpful”

”Like the name tells, George and Dragon is an inn, not a fancy shining hotel, but it is a very cosy and nice place to stay for a couple of nights. The rooms are tidy and located in a separate building apart from the pub in the backyard, so the pub activities did not disturb our good night sleeps. There's a selection of traditional English style breakfast choices available in the morning which guarantee the calories for the rest of the day. The staff was very friendly and helpful! ”

”Nice walking distance to Emsworth railway station. Staff friendly and helpful. An old building which is more of an Inn than a hotel. Car park is monitored by ANPR system. Patrons of the bar must register their vehicles at the bar (cannot return in less than 2 hours). Hotel guests register when they check in - not aware of any time restrictions. No breakfast facilities available so I suggest a list of nearby cafes that can offer this being provided.”
