”Very nice stay in small and cosy Old Amersham village. The hotel was cute little old building dating back to 15th century (oldest parts). Room was well equipped; big bathroom with tub and separate shower. Complimentary toiletries ans water was provided. Breakfast was okay, more british style (as scandinavians we missed all the veggies). Staff was very helpfull and nice.”

”This was my second and last time in this hotel. The first room didn’t have hot water and after the reception gave me another room, the bathtub plug didn’t work. When asking for someone to help with the bathtub plug, the reception registered the request, however no one ever came to see the issue. Having purchased the room in this hotel specifically because of bathtub access, I unfortunately did not get the value I expected. ”

”Really poor service from the reception team. We were charged for the room again at check out because she didn’t speak to us before charging to a card. It wasn’t even the card used to book but one used to pay for breakfast. We were then told that she couldn’t fix it and WE had to email guest relations. We did and the guest relations sent an email back saying accounts will refund us IF the charge was taken twice in 3-7 days. Accidents happen but this has been dealt with incredibly poorly and...

”excellent staff”

”Perfect for a one-night stay. Staff were very friendly, the room was spacious and very clean. The shower was great and the bathroom was spotless. Best part was the included breakfast - lots of choice and good quality. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area!”

”Although a little tired and dated the hotel is spotlessly clean. The staff is what makes the hotel, friendly and professional. Helpful and welcoming and only too happy to give information with a special mention to Diana in the restaurant. The location was great, with plenty of parking. I would stay here again.”

”A very handy stop when in Wycombe Town on business or leisure. Rooms are very clean and staff are quick to respond to any requests. Lovely friendly staff across reception, cleaning and management. All good, thanks to all @ Cavendish.”

”Vahva suositus”

”Excellent location for travelling by tube into central London. Very helpful staff. Bonus points for Aldi and Tesco nearby! We didn't make use of the bar or breakfast option so can't comment, but breakfast did smell very nice! Parking was easy. Would use again.”

”Brilliant old house, not a straight wall or floor, but very charming”

”Showers and toilets are shared with other guests really need some attention to detail cleaning.”

”What a friendly bunch they are at The Old Bell. Clear the new owners and motivated to make this a great spot for all. A truly warm welcome and great chat with the staff; all keen to learn and do things the right way. They really are a credit to the management. Rooms still need a little work, mattress on the bed was not great at all, but everywhere clean and tidy. Would happily stay again when in the area for work.”

”Temiz oda Her şey güzeldi”

”Always stay here when we return to the UK. Hotel and staff are always helpful. Thanks to Ben for letting me get into my room early after a long flight. Will be back late October.”
