”A lovely place in a lovely setting. Checking in was very quick with staff being attentive, pleasant and professional. The only niggle was…The weather was very warm and when we first arrived in the room all windows were closed. It heat in the room was unbearable. There was a floor standing fan which we put on straight away. There was also no fridge in the room. I appreciate that other upgrade rooms had a fridge, but I thought nowadays all hotels had at least a fridge for water and other drinks. A...

”We were very impressed by the De Vere, a beautiful place, very comfortable. Loved the Library Bar and restaurant. The breakfast, with loads of,choice and variety was impressive, and the staff were pleasant and polite. The room was comfortable and clean. Although no air con, a good fan was provided, but then the weather was particularly hot! We also enjoyed the Tipi restaurant, lovely food, with excellent waiting service. We would definitely return, to check out the area generally.”
