”The room needs updated! All the plugins would not hold in our phone chargers or my husband’s cpap machine, our plugs kept falling out! No working ice machine! The bathroom needs some work done, the plaster by the window in the shower is bubbled and wants to come off! The room was good for sleeping, bed not bad!”

”The location is nice, with beach access, but the room we stayed in (in the main building) needs renovation...which is apparently coming up as the facility comes under new ownership.”

”Our room was in the back and very quiet. The office staff was VERY polite and kind. We arrived quite late and left early the next morning. The hotel is not new, so shows some wear and tear and my socks picked up a fair bit of dirt, but it didn't seem unclean. The beds were comfortable.”

”The staff here is FABULOUS! Friendly and helpful and probably the best customer service I’ve had at a budget hotel. Our room was clean and comfy. The property is older and right next to the highway but that is the only bad thing. Room was spotless, they had rugs and towels for the dogs and a decent walking area around the corner. Don’t let their policies scare you. This was a great stay!”

”This motel is the best stay in town with hands down best beach access which is literally across the street. We spent every night combing the beach for eye candy treasures of colorful starfish and giant green anemones. It was nice to hang out at the picnic tables late at night just to chill, listen to the ocean, watch the cars go by. The owners are friendly and offer frequently how they can help us enjoy our stay. The rooms are comfortable and clean with new and modern amenities such as a...

”The Host was very welcoming and very helpful. She responded to questions very quickly. The Coastal Studio exceeded our expectations! Very comfortable. quiet, close to everything in Brookings, and perfect for our dogs. Will definitely stay again”

”Everything was great, truly. There was however, A LOT of loose hair, 5-6" long and dark ALL OVER the bathroom. At least 10 in the shower stall. A few on the walls of the bathroom and even some stuck to the cabinets as well as the floor. ”
