Local buses were also plentiful and took you right into Salcombe or further afield if required, meaning less driving down the narrow lanes! ”The hotel is a bit dated and in need of updating. We booked a king bed and it was very small, maybe a queen. The mattress was poor quality. The curtain and linens smelled musty. The staff in bar and restaurant were lovely and food was good. Overall just average”
