”My room was clean. However, looks like the hotel originally was very nice. Now rather worn out. Especially, the corridors/hallways. If they were cleaned and vacuumed ONCE A MONTH they would not be so FILTHY. Stains, dust, trash. I found a PILL on the but did not dare to touch it.”

”I was in the Buffalo area for a funeral, and this property was centrally located to where the services occurred. The staff was helpful, the room was very comfortable, and very quiet.”

”I’m obsessed with this hotel- and the fact that it’s definitely NOT haunted, but stunning, tranquil, and perfectly located so that neighboring attractions are easy to get to. Take the tour when you stay (only offered on Saturdays and Sundays) so that you can hear about its rich history AND see the closed off portion of the former institution. I would go back here for another long weekend in a minute!”

”The AC wasn't working, and when we reported the issue, we were simply told that maintenance would check it the next morning. This meant we had to spend the entire night without air conditioning. As a result, none of us could get any sleep, including our kids. It was extremely uncomfortable and very disappointing that no immediate solution or alternative accommodation was offered.”

They had mentioned that I will have to ask to get my room cleaned. But someone cleaned it while I was away, without me telling them to do so.”
