”Very good property”

”The oliver cromwell was very tired and dated. The carpet in the corridor was loose and a trip hazard, we couldn't get hot water from the shower (fine for the bath). Lighting was poor. The bar wasn't staffed. Bed was ok. On a positive note, the room had air-conditioned was was appreciated”

”Excellent! More spacious than we thought, lovely and clean, wonderfully placed so we were actually enjoying the owls at night. The internet could be a bit iffy but still good, the shower was lovely, the beds were lovely, the blinds were rally good at keeping the room cool during the day. We loved it there, it was perfect, just the perfect little place and we will definitely be returning when next possible. I highly recommend it was just so peaceful, it was not too far away from a supermarket etc...

”Simon, the landlord, was personable and very helpful. We had both dinner and breakfast which were very nice. Our room was fine and the bathroom facilities adequate. The property generally could do with a bit of tlc but, that said, we had a nice stay.”

”Upon arrival, we were greeted by our lovely hosts Chris and Tina. Chris kindly showed us to our Valentina tent for our 3 day stay. The tent was beautifully appointed and had a super comfy bed. Our separate kitchen area had a basket of goodies, which we felt was such a personal touch. The llamas were amazing, roaming freely outside our tent. Tina gave an interesting talk about them, whilst we were able to feed them. Our stay was truly lovely and the sunsets, other wildlife were just the ‘icing on...

Advertised as one thing (apparently Hotels.com won’t let me say what, so I have had to re word my initial complaint), when I checked in, I was given something completely different. Suffice to say, when I booked I was not expecting to be staying in a bedroom in someone’s house. Unable to get a refund dispute the proof I supplied that the booking was misrepresented. Please avoid Hotels,com are fantastic, had countless enjoyable experiences when booking with them. This...
