”We spend one night there. The hotel is right in the center of Grindewald, about 5min walking distance from the train station. The view is great and the spa area with infinity pool was the main reason we chose this hotel. During our stay the weather was rainy and cloudy so spa worked as a good backup plan to spend the day. The other parts of the hotel are outdated and our room just looked old and a bit dirty. The breakfast was ok and service as well. ”

”Great hotel in Grindelwald. The staff was very friendly and the complimentary breakfast was very good. We had a fantastic view of the Eiger and Monch mountains that captivated us. I suggest requesting a room with a view of these mountains as opposed to the other side that looks towards Mount First. That side isn't bad, but the view towards Eiger and Monch is fantastic. The mountains feel close enough to touch. It's a 15 to 20 minute walk to the main train station, but there are also buses...

”Regarding the location, I can say that it’s not one of the most convenient one’s. But, worth just for the view. I would definitely recommend NOT to stay in a room with 6 people. The house is a bit old, so you keep hearing the floor cracking so it’s hard to sleep with so many people walking around the room. Other than that, the breakfast is good, staff friendly and place always clean. ”

”Great location with fantastic staff, room is *very* small, and lacks ammenities compared to what i expect, there's just hand soap and that's it. Not sure if this is normal or not, but every hotel I've been too has had toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, tea making facilities etc. Was kinda a bummer because it meant I had to go buy big bottles that I could only use once or twice.”
