”We were handsomely welcomed and looked after. The room was superb, very generously sized with an excellent bathroom. The balcony overlooking the meadows bordering the river Wye was a delight, especially as we arrived at tea time with the sun shining on the house. Very relaxing after a longish car journey. I enjoyed my classic cooked breakfast and my wife enjoyed an avacado-based poached egg. We hope to return during 2027's Hay-on-Wye Literary Festival.”

”It was the perfect venue for our multi generational family gathering. Lucy was a very helpful and communicative host. The farmhouse was huge but still cosy. Well equipped kitchen. Huge table that comfortably seated 11 of us. Well heated and plenty of hot water. Super comfy beds and bed linen. Games room, toys, dvds, books. Clean and hot hot tub! In beautiful countryside with an easy walk to a waterfall and river. Actually on a farm and my grandchildren loved watching the sheep with their lambs,...

”Great stay in a lovely house. Large, spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. Feels like a cared-for home. Plenty of different living spaces (inside and outside). Large and very well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds. Glorious views from the house and colourful garden (in summer). Lots of walks from the back door or a short drive away. Good local shop and pub. Very responsive host. Nice welcome pack. Would love to go back.”
