”I booked because of the name "Radisson". The blanket was really cheap and the bed was not the 4-star standard. I don't think they had changed the sheet in my room, and apparently housekeeping does not work I the evening. They gave me a new room. They gave me a second blanket, which made my night ok. This place is great for a 3 star hotel, but if you are looking for a standard 4 star bed, this is not the place for you. ”

”Todella ystävällinen henkilökunta. Tulimme tänne lentomme Gatwickistä peruunnuttua. Henkilökunta empaattinen ja palvelu erittäin hyvää. Huoneet siistit ja huoneessa palvelut kunnossa. Ravintola mukava ja ruoka oli hyvää. Hotellin ympäristössä ei ollut käytännössä mitään. Vieressä liikuntakeskus, jonne saa alennuksella päivälipun, mutta piha-alueella pelkkää parkkipaikkaa, joten lähialueen ulkoilu ei ollut kovin miellyttävä kokemus. Hotelli varmasti autoilijoille hyvä taukopaikka Lontoon...

”St Marys Gate Inn looked extremely comfortable, clean and welcoming in the photo's online. Believe me when I say, it is much much more when you arrive. Welcomed by Lola on arrival (we were much earlier than expected) we were shown a table for Sunday lunch straight away (Food is excellent both flavours and presentation). The room was exceptional, huge main area, immaculate bathroom, tea and separate coffee facilities in the room, two huge windows. Bed was very comfortable, just a very relaxing...

”The spa at Ockenden Manor is absolutely superb – quiet, friendly, and extremely welcoming. The staff create a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere, making it an ideal place to unwind. The hotel rooms, while a little dated in style, are comfortable and well stocked with all the amenities you could need for a pleasant stay. Overall, a lovely experience with the spa as the true highlight.”

”For somereason our key worked on other doors as well than just ours (we accidently went to wrong floor first and opened an occupied room) The receptionist told ys that there is a technical problem and told us to use the same key for our door.. It’s not a tidy place. I would recommend everyone to pack antihistamins and extra inhalers to survive.”

”Service is friendly and impeccable. The food is superb and much of it is grown on site in the kitchen garden (daily tours available). We had a birthday dinner party for 12 adults in the Garden Room and we were looked after incredibly well. Lovely scenery at no extra charge! Hugely recommended. Best to stay in the main hotel if you can rather than the wagons or sheds. ”

”Great stay! Was upgraded to nicer room on arrival. Comfy beds, lux bathroom, tea/coffee and fresh baked cookies - heaven! Walked to Amberley Black Horse pub for drinks & snacks (and board games) then back to hotel for their 5 course tasting menu - most enjoyable! ”

”It was good price-value for staying relatively close to the airport. There was instant coffee and tea in the room which I always like as a small factor when doing on the road stop like this and not necessarily having full breakfast. Staff was okay and bed and facilities sufficient but nothing special. It was further away from the airport than I thought. When using buses, you had to walk around 1,5km in dark to get there, this was a bit of downer. They offered (quite pushily) a taxi service for...

"Everything was good"

"Beautiful old hotel right by the sea and close to everything. The hotel has old charm and glamour, but needs some updating. We stayed in a room that hadn't been refurbished (we were told that all rooms should be done by April 2025). Room basically had no window since it was facing the opposite wall less than one meter away. I would definetely recommend to book a room that faces sea or atleast a streetview unless it is just a place to sleep. We picked a hotel based on availability of parking but that really is not an issue. We found plenty of parking garages right in the center so if you don't mind walking 200 meters, there's no need to book a hotel with parking. "

"Very friendly service everywhere. Excellent breakfast. Older hotel w charm. I booked the smallest room for 3 day trip and as fairly big guy it was a mistake :) Shower so small that i was barely fitting myself in. But the room is ok if you just need a bed for the night. Room itself was clean and bed comfy. "
