”Stayed one night at Duck Bay and it was very good. The room was nice but for a deluxe price it prob wasnt worth the extra money. The bed wasnt very comfortable and the pillows were very lumpy. We told reception on checkout and they said they would replace the pillows. Nice view of the loch but weather was too wet to use the small patio. Staff were very nice, food was lovely both at dinner and at breakfast. I would stay again but not bother upgrading my room.”

”The location is great with walk way along the river and it is closer to most shops for those that fancy home made food. Lots of parking space and it is secure. Notwithstanding, the Wifi was rubbish. Perhaps this was just something unusual because I told the staff, that I could not use the wifi due to low strength and constant disconnection.”

”A truly lovely experience. It's nice that a hotel chain takes staffing numbers and training so seriously. The staff were excellent, attentive, knowledgeable, friendly and polite. The food was also top notch and my fillet steak was one of the best I have ever had. Everything was very clean. The only slight annoyance was dogs in the restaurant. As I am allergic, I don't think that policy is particularly fair.”

”A cosy and nice hotel. Service and staff were very friendly. Breakfast was quite what you would expect, although points to the hotel for having also something else than english breakfast. Weakest coffee we had the entire trip though. The room was great, however the matress was 20cm smaller than should be on the bed. It was also smaller than in the pictures and wasn’t that comfortable. ”

"The basic room was neat but wasnt exactly clean - we found trash in the corners of the bed and the carpet wasnt vaccuumed properly. Hotel’s location was amazing and we enjoyed the breakfast! It would be nice to somehow get light inside the room in the morning without opening the ’bathroom’ shade."
