”Absolutely gorgeous setting with a view of the glacier. Villa was comfortable (except for the lack of bedside lamps) with a nice kitchen and good beds. Loved that they had free DVDs available (which we took advantage of thanks to a very rainy afternoon and evening) and laundry facilities. The town of Franz Joseph Glacier was cute but food options weren't great - I'd suggest cooking in. Glad we had 2 nights here! ”

”This feels more like a motel than a hotel. Breakfast and staff there were ok. Did not see the reception staff on arrival nor at checkout. Key was taped to the reception door in an envelope when we arrived about 5:30 PM. Room was fine. Left the key in the empty reception about 9am when we left . Our expectations were a bit different based on descriptions and price level.”
