”Very pleasant room in pub /hotel in centre of town with fast wifi and all amenities. Cooked breakfast also included -although quite a short time for breakfast - between 8.30 and 10 on a Saturday. But breakfast was fine.”

”Turned up to be told the manager was out and wouldn’t be back for half an hour at least, so we couldn’t check in. So had to sit and wait (we were supposed to be getting ready for a wedding). Manager treated us as though we were some sort of nuisance wanting to check in. So after nearly 45 min she arrived and asked for a £200 deposit… this wasn’t mentioned anywhere on the listing. The rooms were dirty (walls, floors and bedding), the tiled floors with missing grout in our bathroom were...

”Hotel was old, worn, dirty and cold. There is no restaurant, and no stores nearby to get food etc. Staff was nice, but that didn’t save the experience. ”

”The staff were absolutely amazing, me and my partner stayed for the weekend for a wedding. I felt very welcomed, and as though we had known each other for years! For that reason alone we are definitely going back. The food is great, fresh and hot! The rooms are quaint, and well presented. Initially there were a few issues which could not be helped, the staff were so attentive and apologetic, that we felt that they couldn’t have done more. So recommend this place, just for the staff alone!!”

”Das Zimmer, das wir hatten, war leider nicht wirklich sauber, und die Klimaanlage funktionierte nicht richtig. Wir hatten einen Early Check-in angefragt, allerdings hat die Zentrale diese Information leider nicht an das Hotel weitergegeben. Das Personal an der Rezeption hat jedoch alles möglich gemacht. An dieser Stelle noch einmal vielen Dank für den tollen Einsatz!”
