”Really a nice and comfortable stay with family. We had issues with rooms that were given initially but the front desk changed it. The only issue is the parking”

”This is the place to stay in Denali National Park. It's very close to the entrance of the park. And the free transportation from the Lodge to the train depot, the Park Visitor Center, the Horseshoe Lake trail runs very often and very efficient. The Lodge is a quaint, beautiful village with cabins and restaurants and walking paths and free shuttle running throughout. Beautiful flower baskets hanging everywhere you look. Not to mention a roaring Alaska river right next to the Lodge. It...

”A unique, fun place to stay. Hotel staff was very accomodating in helping us to have a room that met my disability needs. Shuttle met us at railroad and took care of getting our luggage to our room.”

”What a great cabin. We stayed as a family here on our drive between Fairbanks and Steward, I wish we has more time. It was adorable, very clean, and they has even the pull out bed made for us when we arrived. Adorable screened in porch that was great with the mosquitoes. My only complaint is that we didn’t have more time to stay and enjoy the property. Would absolutely stay again. ”

”We stayed in 3 other hotels in Alaska on this trip. Your hotel was the best, roomy, comfortable, good bed, good parking, overallvery upscale place. Did not like the restaurant/bar. It was really only a bar with some food. Disappointed. Thankfully there were other great choices for food nearby. Price was comparable to the others we stayed at. Felt we got much better accomidations for the price than any other of the hotels on this trip.”

”We were lucky with a great view of Denali on a clear afternoon. We had a standard 2 queen room and it was spacious and comfortable. There is no AC, but the window opened and there was a ceiling fan and a standing fan that made it confortable. We didn't eat at the restaurants, but they looked nice We did have breakfast atvthe coffee shop. Muffins and the breakfast sandwich were very good, as well as the coffee. Staff was friendly. ”

”Loved our stay! Staff was super helpful with tips on what to do in the area and super friendly. Only drag…. Was the shuttle service. Shuttles were often full. And seems each property needs its own shuttle instead of having Grande Lodge guests having to stop at the Bluffs every time. ”

”The Perch was lovely, clean, well organized, close to Denali Park. Everything was perfect!”

”The Fairview Inn is a historic hotel and bar in Talkeetna! Definitely worth spending a night at and getting a drink/listening to live music! It is centrally located so extremely easy to walk to other shops, restaurants, bars, and the museum in town.”

”We loved our night here. It’s right on the main shopping area but up a hill so it’s not conveniently located and also a little secluded. The room was small and cozy. The shower was great - good pressure and super hot water! We brought our pup and everyone said hi to him. The staff was very kind and welcoming. We will definitely be back! I added a photo of the view from our room. I will say that we live in Alaska and read other reviews and I think it’s just that people have no understanding of...
